David Hockney’s vibrant and immersive exhibition returned to Aviva Studios, Manchester in 2024.
With huge state-of-the-art projections and a revolutionary sound system, Bigger & Closer (not smaller & further away) invited the public to experience the world through David Hockney’s eyes.
Inspired by David Hockney’s work depicting LA and Californian lifestyles,
and referencing other stages of his work, I worked alongside the gallery to create a Drawing based activity brochure for young people. It was created as one large A3 pamphlet that would be folded into several activities The illustration invited young people to complete the activities while still being a beautiful work of art on itself.
